I'll overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
